A Proverb for John McCain

“He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears.” – Proverbs 26:17

The meaning of this verse is subtle and profound. A man who takes a dog by the ears has no desirable course of action left. It is impossible to hold on to a dog’s ears for long, and continuing to do so will only serve to enrage it more; yet letting go may cause the animal to attack you.

It seems like American Christians support politicians who have not taken the Bible seriously.
